Theme: Learning, Leading & Letting Go
Week five was all about deepening self-awareness, embracing humility, and leaning into growth. It reminded me that leadership is just as much about confidence and gratitude as it is about strategic delegation and asking the right questions.
• Be Grateful: I reflected on the quiet power of behind-the-scenes work and the importance of leading with humility—even when recognition doesn’t follow.
• Be Confident: Confidence grows each time I show up with courage, anticipate needs, and act with intention, despite fear or uncertainty.
• Ask Clarifying Questions: Strategic questions are key to effectiveness—especially in supporting a leader still growing in their role. Clarity equals impact.
• Be Willing to Do (Almost) Anything: I take pride in being dependable. True leadership is being ready to help—without ego or boundaries that block progress.
• Outsource Your Job: I’m learning to let go of tasks that don’t truly require me. Delegation is not giving up control—it’s making space to lead.
Takeaway:
This week reinforced that effective leadership blends humility, confidence, and discernment. It’s not about doing everything—it’s about doing what matters most, with heart and clarity.
