Do you consider yourself a Life Learner? I have always claimed to be. Whether it's choosing one of the many books on my bookshelf, seeking an online course, joining groups with shared interests, the learning opportunities are never-ending.
There are so many outlets for developing new skills, sharpening your knowledge, and exploring new interests.
Coursera, MasterClass, Alison have been a few of I have used to take courses and even earn certifications. Professional groups such as a Woman's Empowerment Group, Toastmasters and others help for networking and building professional relationships.
My many bookshelves offer me a plethora of literary genres from which to choose. I typically read two books at simultaneously - usually a couple of chapters a day each. One would be pleasure reading, the other either educational or inspirational. My recent reads were
Set in Stone - The Life and Death of Medusa by R.C. Berry and Read people like a book by Patrick King.
What have you participated in or read lately to keep your mind stimulated? How have you grown your professional relationships? Do you have any book recommendations?
